blog challenge 7

What I found interesting in the video was that it reminded me that when you walk in wet cement, you leave a footprint and it can never be erased. Similarly when you go online, your actions never disappear. In the first video they are basically talking about how you can leave a mark and that anyone can see it and it never disappears, it can be copied. The second video is basically talking about how your online history gets created in modern times and how everything you do, can be added to your online history. I prefer the first video because it helps me learn how you when you do anything online, it leaves a mark and that anyone can see it at anytime and anywhere. Also they can copy it and send it to other people.

IT IS A SMALL WORLD

My parents and I migrated to Canada when I was a year old. My family and I celebrate lots of cultural events like Diwali and Ganesh festival. We celebrate these festivals on a small scale; a small scale means that we celebrate these festivals with a small group of people. My grandparents in India celebrate all the festivals. In India these celebrations are social; meaning that most of the Indians come together for these celebrations. In Canada we celebrate Diwali by calling friends and family over, having fun and having terrific Indian food and lighting some lights. In India my grandparents light up their house and clean it and decorate it with flowers. Diwali is the story of how Rama came home from the war in Lanka and returned home to Ayodhya and became king. Diwali is celebrated for 4-5 days. We celebrate Ganesh festival by calling friends over, then we do a Pooja, where we pray to god and I know two prayers of the Pooja. My grandparents also keep a Ganesh idol at home for ten days. They do a pooja every day and have friends and family come over for the Lord’s blessings. In India they have a big parade on the last day where they carry Ganesh statues. When they are done the people in India immerse Ganesh into the water and the idol disintegrates in the water. We say that God has returned home.  This is how we celebrate these festivals in Canada and how India celebrates these festivals.

student blog challenge week 5

bad#BAD13 stubc13. I think every child in the world should have rights. The child should have privacy so that people don’t spy on him/her. The child should have protection , say that the child was involved in an accident it would be the parent responsibility to save the child. Every child should have free education and not have to work all day long. Rights of the child should be important to everyone.

#Bad13 #13stubc. I think that you should be drinking tap water instead of drinking the water of a plastic water bottles. Why? It is because the plastic water goes when you throw it garbage. You should never throw in the garbage and throw it in the recycling bin. Why? It is because it might go to the oceans and be a land dump in the water and it could the fish in the water because the could eat the garbage.water
